“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see”.
Nobody who sees Ramesh today, especially in the online marketing office of 3closets.com that he works in, will believe that he’d be doing nothing if Unnati did not happen in his life.
Ramesh Shembelli is from Bidar. He was one of those typical carefree, contended small-town lads. He would take life as it came. He completed his school finals and was aimlessly wandering about the town. Ramesh, who lost his father and his brother, was the only earning member in the family.
Ramesh was persuaded to join Unnati by a friend, who graduated from Unnati in the 15th Batch. Ramesh joined the 16th batch, and took up tailoring as his chosen stream. He thinks that punctuality, self-discipline and honesty are the three most important things that Unnati has taught him. And all those three virtues are helping Ramesh be successful in his professional endeavours.
Though he took up tailoring as a course, Ramesh’s interests were in another discipline. Ramesh had chosen ‘painting’ as an academic major in his PU. He is very thankful that Mr. Ramesh Swamy of Unnati recognized the painter in him, and guided him into taking a Graphics Designer course.
Ramesh’s first job was at Café Coffee Day. He studied Graphics Designing in parallel, following Unnati’s advice with sincerity. What followed was a ‘Graphics Designer’ job offer from 3closets.com in Bangalore. Ramesh now earns Rs. 12,000 per month, and is very happy with his job.
Like many other Unnati alumni that we meet, Ramesh also thinks that his life would have been wasted had he not found Unnati. He says he might have been doing nothing back at Bidar if he did not do the course at Unnati. He has spread the word and two of his friends have also joined the courses.
Ramesh would like to thank Unnati for all the support and personal guidance he got from them. He has no words to express his gratitude, and says he can repay Unnati by giving them his time and help them in any way possible.
Ramesh, the true artist! We at Unnati are very happy to have enlivened another family!
If you can meet with triumph and disaster, and treat those impostors just the same…
